Literacy fairs, blood drives, bike races, beer gardens, scholarship fundraisers, maintaining local parks, highway cleanups and much more. These are just a few of the projects with which we're involved.

Red, White and Brew 4th of july beer garden

We organize the ONLY beer, wine and hard cider garden at the “Let’s Have A Blast” Independence Day community festival at Walla Walla Point Park in Wenatchee, Wa. In addition to the beer, wine and hard cider garden, we set up a hot dog stand – because what’s more American than beer and hotdogs?

Mission: granduro (and runduro)

Mission: GranDuro is a mountain bike ride and trail run to benefit trail advocacy and construction in our region. It benefits Wenatchee North Rotary and the Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance. The event is headed up by former mountain bike racer, local bike shop owner and WNR member Evan Plews.

Red cross blood drives

Giving blood is one of the most important things you can do to help save lives. Each donation has the potential to save three lives and the need for blood is urgent and ever-present. Wenatchee North Rotary regularly organizes and volunteers at Red Cross blood drives in our community, usually held at King's Orchard Church at 1610 Orchard Ave. in Wenatchee. For more information and how to give blood in our region, please visit the Red Cross Northwest website here.

Rotary park maintenance

Rotary brings a diverse group of people together with a diverse set of professional skills, talents and passions. Our club is proud to be actively involved in the maintenance, expansion and beautification of Rotary Park in Wenatchee. Randy Zielinski, a WNR member, contractor and owner of Whitebird Construction is leading the efforts to build a parking lot for the well-loved park so folks who enjoy it won't have to struggle to find parking in the area neighborhoods.

highway cleanups

Wenatchee North Rotary is the proud custodian of a little stretch of highway at the intersection of Highway 2 and Route 97, near Sunnyslope, just outside of Wenatchee. Our members form work crews to keep our part of the shoulders of the road clear of debris and trash.
