Wednesday she will volunteer at the Wild game helping with a chuck a puck fundraiser, Friday and Saturday were days to go bowling. She made Finnish Tortillas (which sounded like quite the treat) and macaroni casserole!
Richard played a Rotary Moment video showing some Rotary services that are being provided in Uganda.
Note: This might not be the same video Richard showed, but it does highlight some good work Rotary clubs came together to do in Uganda.
Bealinda – participating in the Follies
Patrick – Horan Natural Area bird walk today discovered nesting eagles – a first for that area and numerous other birds.
Shannon – Excited to serve beer/wine at the WVC Hall of Fame event.
Katja – Noted that Darren K will be offering a Beekeeping Class (a Pybus University offering) next Tuesday at 7 pm.
Richard – Shared that “Rotary Month” has been super busy with activities in Seattle, Vernon, BC, Ellensburg, Revelstoke, BC, and Seattle again.
Kevin announces Nick’s Bricks will be held at Pybus on March 2nd. The event is 10 am – 3 pm. Signup sheet was passed around.
Martin gave a Water Project in Haiti update as well as other clean water and sanitation works.
Richard said this is the last week to sign up for some of the big Rotary conferences in order to get the discounted early-bird rates.
Lindsay said the Mardi Gras event will be March 5th
Bealinda passed around sign-ups for the WVC and the Wild game events.
